Neal Ivan Mansfield, son of the late Ira Gustave Mansfield and Sallie Jane Hicks Mansfield was born on October 23, 1921 at Danville, Illinois and departed this life in his residence near Dudley on March 15, 2013 at the age of 91.

Mr. Mansfield was a farmer, a former agent and adjuster with the Federal Crop Insurance Program, a veteran of the United States Army Air Corp serving in World War 2 and a resident of rural Dudley.

He was united in marriage to Christine Hart on November 27, 1946 at Dexter.  Mrs. Mansfield survives of the home near Dudley.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Donna Mansfield of Dudley: by five grandchildren, Travis Allen Swallows, Lisa Ann Lucy, Jeffrey Neal Swallows, Russell Leroy Mansfield and David Ray Mansfield: by six great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, one son, Douglas Ray Mansfield, preceded him in death: by four brothers and one sister.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield with Full Military Honors.
