The Dexter squad jumped out to an 11-6 lead early in the first quarter on baskets by Allison Jarrell (four 3 pointers on the night) Brittany Harris (20 points and 12 rebounds) and Paige Patterson (11 points). Poplar Bluff kept it close though and the Lady Cats finished the first quarter with a 19-12 lead.
Katelynn Frazier continued her excellent play with seven assists on the game while forcing six steals on the Lady Mules. The Dexter defense held the Lady Mules to single digit scoring for each of the last three quarters, while continuing to score both outside (Mollie Whitehead, Erica Cobb and Allison Jarrell) and inside (a number of lay ups by Hannah Noe) which lead to the 28 point victory. The Lady Cats improve their record to 20-2 for the season. Way to go Cats!
