Dexter, Missouri - Our little dribblers of the future had an exciting weekend on the court!  The Charleston Bluejays were no match for our 5th grade team.  It was an exciting game and the Dexter Bearcats were able to defeat the Charleston Bluejays. The final score was Dexter Bearcats  35 - Charleston Bluejays 34.

Continuing to have a successful year the 4th grade team took to the court and scored a huge victory.  These little guys work very hard and have created a very proud team that is almost undefeated.  They overpowered the Charleston Bluejays by a crushing score of 44 - 15.   Way to go team!

On Sunday, another round of winning games for the 4th, 5th and 6th graders.  Each team was charged and ready for action against their opponent, Chaffee.  The 6th grade team won 25 - 9 and the 5th grade team won 34 - 17.  The youngest team was alive with an outstanding score of 55 - 9, bringing the 4th grade team to 9  wins and only 1 loss on the season.  Way to go little Dexter Bearcats.

With each player's hard work and dedication, coaches Lloyd Hyten and Dave Ellinghouse see much potential out on the basketball court this year.  As these students continue to play well and develop skills over the next few years, they will be ready for the next level, high school basketball.
