Bob Blair

Mr. Blair was a member of the New Hope General Baptist Church near Essex, Missouri, a retired farmer and a resident of rural Dexter.
He was united in marriage to Jean Mayberry on January 30, 1955, at Essex, Missouri. Mrs. Blair resides at the home.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Bobby Blair, Jr., and his wife, Jane, of Essex, Missouri, Terry Blair, and his wife, Karen, of Essex, Missouri, and Jeff Blair, and his wife, Melissa, of Dexter, Missouri; by two brothers, Kermit Blair of Essex, Missouri, and J.C. Blair of Vallejo, California; and by seven grandchildren, Eric Blair, Tina Porter, Melissa Hitt, Heather Blair, Jessica Blair, Lauren Blair and Carson Blair; and by three great-grandchildren, Beau Hunter Blair, Hayden Hitt and Kyndall Hitt.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Blair and A. L. Blair; and by two sisters, Connie Beck and Linnie Rowland.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, December 7, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Josh Carpenter and Rev. Steve Tippen officiating. Interment will follow at the Taylor Cemetery in rural Essex.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Boulevard, St. Louis, Missouri 63132-3253. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
