Louise Welch, daughter of the late Wesley McCollough and Ethel Hutchcraft McCollough, was born April 25, 1932, in Dexter, Missouri, and departed this life at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter, Missouri, on November 30, 2012, at the age of 80.
Mrs. Welch was a member of the Rivers of Life Christian Center in Dexter. She had been employed as an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone, in the deli of Town & Country Supermarket and as a health aide with the Dexter Visiting Nurses Association.
She was united in marriage to Bobby J. Welch on October 22, 1951, in Piggott, Arkansas. Mr. Welch preceded her in death on April 13, 2005.
She is survived by one daughter, Cindy Golden and her husband, Danny, of Bloomfield, Missouri, two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Dale McCollough, John McCollough and Louie McCollough.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 1, 2012. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 2, 2012, at 1:00 P.M., at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Ray Rowland officiating. Interment will follow at the Dexter Cemetery.
