Ms. Hays was a Homemaker and a resident of Dexter for many years.

Survivors include one son, Tom Riggins of Dexter; by two daughters, Tracy Riggins Murphy of Dexter and Tammy Riggins Moore of Bloomfield, Missouri; two brothers, Larry Riggins of Puxico, Missouri and John Riggins of Louisiana; by three sisters, Joy Hampton of Puxico, Helen Walker and Sarah Aarant both of Dexter; also by six grandchildren, Beau Murphy, Lexy Murphy, Casey Karnes, Kayla Powell, Dawson Moore, and Paige Garner.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward Riggins, Curley Riggins, Howard Riggins, and Herman Riggins; also by two sisters, Lorene Abernathy and Betty Barker.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 3:00 until 4:00P.M. on Sunday November 25, 2012.  Memorial service will be conducted on Sunday at 4:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Rev. Roger Fowler officiating.
