Clorine Shipman, daughter of the late Bill Williams and Lucy Livingston Williams was born on August 25, 1923 in Powe, Missouri and departed this life on September 17, 2012 in the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 89 years.
Mrs. Shipman was a housewife, affiliated with the Church of Christ, and a resident of Dexter.
On May 11, 1940 she was united in marriage to Willie Andrew Shipman in Dexter, Missouri. Mr. Shipman preceded her in death on May 6, 2009.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Lee Shipman, two brothers, Raymond Williams and James Williams; by one sister Marie Allstun; also by one granddaughter Darla Kay Shipman.
Survivors include one sister, Theoda Litzler of Stephens City, Virginia; by two grandsons, Bobby Shipman and wife Rhonda, Rick Shipman and wife Barb; by four great- grandchildren, Brent Shipman, Cody Shipman, Bud Shipman, and Gracie Shipman; also by one great-great-granddaughter, Reagan Wright.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Funeral services will then be conducted on Thursday, September 20, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter.
