Tuesday night the Dexter Lady Bearcat Volleyball team traveled to Scott City for one of the three games they will be participating in during the week.

 With the absence of sophomore Jessica Lindsey, the team is having to step up big to fill her talented shoes out on the court.

 The Dexter Bearcats took the victory against Scott City in just two sets.  The first set was a pretty even battle between the two teams as the Bearcats took that set 25-18.

 The second set the Dexter Bearcats were unstoppable as they only let Scott City score three points this time with a second set victory of 25-3. 

 The 2012 season keeps looking better and better for the Bearcats with all of their huge victories to start the season.

 Dexter will be back on the court tomorrow in the Bearcat Event Center in what will be a very good match against the Bernie Mules. Dexter fell to Bernie in the tournament played this past weekend, but the Bearcats didn’t go down without a fight. They held on and the game went into three sets.

 Junior Varsity will start at 6:00 P.M. with Varsity following.
