Teens Complete Washington Adventure

The Teens To D.C. tour group completed its adventure to our nation's capitol and surrounding area this weekend, and returned to Missouri on Saturday night. One of the group's final stops on their tour was at the National Cathedral, where the young people paused for a photo outside the gothic structure. Since the  moment in 1907 when workmen laid the foundation stone, the Washington National Cathedral has played a vital role in our nation's history. Teens to D.C. has been a Dexter tradition for young people who have just completed the eighth grade for a number of years. The tour this spring was led by Melinda Sweeney. (Photo submitted by Teens to D.C. mom Kim Flowers)
