Loyd was a member of the Word of Faith Ministries in Morehouse, Missouri, employee of Faurecia USA in Dexter, and a resident of Bloomfield.

Survivors include his father, Loyd Jarrett Sr. of Pyletown; by his mother and step-father, Diana Metcalf and David of Bloomfield; two brothers, Cecil Whitaker of Dexter and Billy Joe Whitaker of Bloomfield; one sister, Jennifer Stoker of Dexter.

Friends may call from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday, May 5, 2012 at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m., Sunday May 6, 2012 at the Word of Faith Ministries Church in Morehouse, with Rev. Lynn McMackin officiating.

Interment will follow at the Hill Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.
