The Dexter Kiwanis Club recently awarded two $1,000 scholarships to two graduating seniors at Dexter High School.  Kiwanis Education Committee members Kevin Bishop and Pam Trammell presented the awards to Dalton Putnam and Jennifer Aslin. Putnam is the son of Denny and Shannon Putnam; Aslin is the daughter of Tim and Lesa Aslin.  Putnam plans to pursue a degree in pharmacy at Missouri State University in Springfield; Aslin intends to enter the nursing program at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. Dexter seniors will graduate on Friday, May 18. Kiwanis Clubs focus on changing the world by serving children, one child and one community at a time.
