John C. Robertson, son of the late Norman Cleveland and Mable Howerton Robertson, was born on April 3, 1947, in Summerfield, North Carolina, and passed away at his home in Sikeston, Missouri, on April 19, 2012, at the age of 65 years and 16 days.
He had lived in Florida before moving the Bloomfield and had lived in Sikeston the past five years. He had worked in management for Stanley Steamer and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
On October 15, 1977, he was married to Linda James in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Robertson of Sikeston; by four daughters, Annette Williams and Stephanie McElroy both of Sikeston, Daryl Ann Kelly of Doniphan, and Tina Nugent of Idaho; by three grandchildren, Samantha and Nolan McElroy both of Sikeston, Nathaniel Nugent of Idaho; and by one brother, Paul Robertson of Stokedale, North Carolina, and three sisters, Diane Hold of Summerfield, North Carolina, Norma Middleton of Oakridge, North Carolina and Margie Bailey of Kernersville, North Carolina.
One brother, Clarence Robertson, preceded him in death.
Friends may visit from 9 until 11a.m., Monday April 23, 2012, at the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday April 23, 2012, at the First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of all arrangements.
Margie Worley, daughter of the late Charles Clinton and Lola Blanch Taylor Boyt, was born in Como, Missouri, on November 28, 1922, and passed away at her home near Doniphan, Missouri on April 17, 2012, at the age of 89 years, 4 months, and 20 days.
Mrs. Worley had been a resident of Stoddard County, Missouri most of her life. She had moved to Doniphan three years ago. She was a member of the Grandin Full Gospel Holiness Church in Grandin, where she served as a board member. She had worked at Elders Manufacturing and at area nursing homes.
She was married to Eldridge Sebb Worley and moved to Georgia. Mr. Worley, serving in the U. S. Army, was deployed to Europe during WWII shortly afterward and lost his life serving his country.
Surviving are one son, Dale Worley of Bloomfield; two grandchildren, Matt Worley of Bloomfield and David Worley of Dexter; six great grandchildren; two brothers, Leonard Boyt of Puxico, Perry Boyt of Dexter; and by three sisters, Gloria Clowes of Marble Hill, Donna Boykin of Doniphan, and Dorothy O'Neal of Puxico. Other family and friends also survive her.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl Clinton Boyt and two in infancy, Doyle Edward and Clarence Albert Boyt; and by two sisters, Mary Ellen Morgan and Pansy Ilene Hopkins.
Visitation will be held after 10 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, April 20, 2012 at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter with the Rev. Randy Robinson of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Barker Cemetery near Bernie, Missouri.
Bettie Rowland, daughter of the late Edward W. Bean and Olive Taylor Bean was born on September 9, 1918 at Sikeston, Missouri and died on April 15, 2012 at the Cypress Point Skilled Care Facility in Dexter at the age of 93.
Mrs. Rowland was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dexter, a seamstress for Elders Manufacturing and a resident of Dexter.
On November 23, 1939 she was united in marriage to Marvin DeWayne Rowland in Corinth, Mississippi. Mr. Rowland preceded her in death on March 24, 1990.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Rowland of Dexter and Gene Rowland of Dexter; by two daughters, Edwina Woolard of Puxico and Marla Buchanan of Puxico; by one brother, Wallace Gayle Bean of Dexter; by one sister, Ruth Kee of St. Louis, Missouri; by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 until 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 17,2012. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 2012 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral chapel with Rev. Wayne Dismuke officiating.
Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
Emma Mae Niehaus, daughter of the late Edward Fritts and Velma Crain Fritts was born on February 13, 1922 in Bernie, Missouri and departed this life at the Golden Living Center in Dexter of April 15, 2012 at the age of 90 years.
Mrs. Niehaus was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter, former employee of Medler’s Cleaners in Dexter, a housewife, and a resident of Dexter.
On June 4, 1938 she was united in marriage to Herman Niehaus Jr. in Risco. Mr. Niehaus preceded her in death on October 14, 1999.
Survivors include two daughters, Martha Steimle and husband Larry of Wappapello, and Wanda Stultz and husband Vader of Gallatin, Tennessee; by two brothers, Wilfred Fritts of Flint, Michigan and George Fritts and wife Joyce of Kirkwood; and by three sisters, Eva McKinley of Dexter, Delores Stalling of Malden, , and Betty Killian and husband Bob of Poplar Bluff,; by seven grandchildren; Pam Lee and husband Greg of Poplar Bluff, Jerry Foriester and wife Julie of Campbell, Tracie Patton and husband Joe of Land O’Lakes, Florida, Dawn Kingsley and husband Billy of Gallatin, Tennessee, Landon Steimle and wife Alice of Oxford, Mississippi, Michelle Windsor of Portageville, and Janelle Price and husband Tracy of Benton; also by twelve great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Wilma Hampton and Barbara Ann Fritts.

Seldon Harris, son of Dorothy Horn VanderMolen of Muskegon, Michigan and Ervin Harris was born on April 9, 1947 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on April 13, 2012 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 65 years.
Mr. Harris was referred to as a mountain man. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman, and tracker. Seldon was a very loving family man.
Besides his parents, survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Noah Harris and Nicole of Dexter; one brother, David VanderMolen of Holland, Michigan; one sister, Kathy Pradhan of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; by two grandchildren, Dylan Seldon Harris and Preston Fitzpatrick.
