James Raymond Jones, was born on October 22, 1925 at Wylie, Texas and departed this life in the Crowley Ridge Care Center on March 29, 2012 at the age of 86.

Mr. Jones was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  He had lived in Texas from 1925 through 1999 and was a current resident of Dexter.

He was united in marriage to his wife, Pauline, on February 20, 1999.  Mrs. Jones survives of the home near Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and son in law, Rhonda and Bill Richter of Houston, Texas: by one daughter in law, Sandy Jones of Houston, Texas: by five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, March 31, 2012 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Dexter with Tom Kelsey officiating.
