Snow Falls; Cancellations Announced

The snow continues to fall late Monday afternoon in Dexter and Southeast Missouri, leaving behind slushy roadways and a number of closings and cancellations for Monday night.
The Lady Bearcat Basketball games against Poplar Bluff tonight at the Bearcat Event Center have been postponed until Tuesday at the BEC. The ladies and the gents will both play Tuesday; the schedule, weather permitting includes:
- 4:00 p.m. - JV Girls
- 5:15 p.m. - JV Boys
- 6:30 p.m. - Varsity Girls
- 8:00 p.m. - Varsity Boys
Three Rivers College announced Monday afternoon that it would closed all offices at the main campus in Poplar Bluff as well as Centers in Dexter, Malden, Kennett, Sikeston and Cape Girardeau. All TRC classes for Monday evening have been cancelled at these locations.
The forecast from weather.com calls for steady snow will become mixed with sleet or freezing rain at times by 7 p.m. The temperatures will be steady or falling to near 32F. Winds SSE at 5 to 10 mph.
