Teens Host Supper, Ready For Raffle

These gentlemen - Daniel Heil, Cody Pullum, Tyler Stevenson, Ethan Flowers and Austin Chesser - greeted guests earlier this week at the Teens To DC Chili Supper. Each year, eighth grade students in Dexter are able to be a part of Teens To DC and travel to Washington in the spring after school is dismissed for the year. The group sponsors fundraisers throughout the year, like the Chili Supper this week. The group is also currently selling tickets to a raffle drawing to be held Feb. 13. The group has many items that have been donated or paid for by area businesses. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Tickets may be purchased from any Teens to DC member or from group sponsor Melinda Sweeney. (SMT Photo by Annabeth Miller)
