Anita Cullum

Anita Cullum, daughter of the late Herschel T. “Jack” Farmer and Dolly O. Wilson Farmer was born on December 21, 1942 at Holcomb, Missouri and departed this life on January 18, 2012 at the Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 69 years.

Mrs. Cullum was a homemaker, affiliated with the Church of Christ, and a resident of Bloomfield, Missouri.  She loved gardening, sewing, and spending time with family.

On July 25, 1975 she was united in marriage to Lloyd Cullum in Dexter, Missouri.  Mr. Cullum survives of the home in Bloomfield.

Besides her husband, other survivors include four sons, Jeff Darnell of Chesterfield, Missouri, Tom Darnell of Bloomfield, Pete Darnell and wife Carla of Jackson, Missouri, and Alan Cullum of Dexter; by one daughter Dolly “Sis” Billingsley and husband Dale of Dexter; one brother, Gerald Farmer of St. Charles, Missouri; by two sisters, Phyllis Farmer and Vickey Hartline both of Bloomfield; also by thirteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald Ray Farmer, Eddie Farmer, and Odell Farmer.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 until 8 p.m., Saturday January 21, 2012.  Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday January 22, 2012 at 2 p.m., at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter with Herman Morse officiating.  Interment will follow at the Bluff Cemetery in Idalia, Missouri.
