Loeta Morgan

Loeta Morgan, daughter of the late Robert and Velma May Maroney Keller, was born in Hayti, Missouri, on April 24, 1931, and passed away at her home in Parma, Missouri on January 9, 2012, at the age of 80.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parma and had been a 4-H Leader.

On August 21, 1954 she was married to Ted Morgan in New Madrid, Missouri.

Surviving are her husband, Ted Morgan of Parma, Missouri; two sons, Michael Morgan of Bernie, Missouri, Doyle Crews of Springfield, Missouri; one daughter, Judy Morgan Kerperien of Glennonville, Missouri; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one brother, Robert L. Keller of Matthews, Missouri; and two sisters, Edith Harrison of Eueka, Missouri and Lorece Starkey of St. Amant, Louisiana. Other family and friends also survive her.

She was preceded in death by one son, Dale Crews, two sisters, Elwanda Keller and Lillian Foster.

Memorial services will be held on at 11 a.m., Friday, January 13, 2012,  the First Baptist Church in Parma with Bro. Kerry Stokes of Charleston and VNA Hospice Chaplain Ron Winstead offciating.

Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Parma in charge of arrangements.

Herman L. Campbell, son of the late Hobert and Esther Crews Campbell, was born in Puxico, Missouri, on August 5, 1919, and passed away at the Puxico Nursing and Rehab in Puxico, Missouri on January 8, 2012, at the age of 92 years.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church in Puxico and was a church clerk for several years. He served in the United States Navy during WWII. He hauled gravel locally, raised cattle, farmed, and worked at Puxico Implement as a parts manager. He was a charter member of Puxico VFW Post #7522 and served on the Puxico School Board for 12 years. He was an avid bowler, horse shoe pitcher, loved animals, and telling stories.

On April 5, 1947 he was married to Colleen Pulis in St. Louis, Missouri. She preceded him in death on July 27, 2011.

Surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-laws, Bruce and Barb Campbell of Puxico, and Randal and Donna Campbell of Boonton, New Jersey; by one daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Allen Parsley of Puxico; seven grandchildren and spouses, Ben & Jenny Campbell, Matt & Brittany Fox, Marcy Parsley, John & Jodie Walker, Jimmy & Jennifer Parsley, J. R. & Melissa Campbell and D. J. Badia; by twelve great-grandchildren, Jacey, Mason, Emma, Tommy and Jaylen Parsley, Hunter Walker, Gracie, Brylee, Brayden ND Evan Campbell, Matti and Braylen Fox and other family and friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Truman and Bucky Campbell; one sister, Genevive Williams; and one grandson, Jay Parsley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012, at 5 p.m., at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 12, 2012, at the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Puxico with Rev. Dennis Doublin of Puxico, Missouri and Rev. David Edwards of Poplar Bluff, Missouri officiating.

Interment will be in Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements with full military honors.

Memorials maybe made to the United Methodist Church in Puxico, Missouri, PO Box 68, Puxico, Missouri, 63960.

Patricia Pullum, daughter of the late Rex G. and Margie Pauline Jones Kilmer, was born in Dexter, Missouri on May 15, 1947, and passed away in Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on January 7, 2012, at the age of 64.

She had lived in the Dexter and Sikeston area most all her life.She was a member of the Life Church in Sikeston Missouri. and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

On July 25, 1965 she was married to Leonard Pullum. He preceded her in death in July, 1986

Surviving are one son, Rex Pullum and his wife Melissa of Portageville; one daughter, Lorrie Lynn Eaves, of Sikeston; five grandchildren, Shelly Priggel, Paul Davidson, Paige Clark, Lindsay Clark, Megan Davidson and four great-grandchildren, Lily Beth Priggel, Alayna Clark, Maggie Priggel, Mason Dicks; also by one brother Mike Kilmer, of Columbia  and other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012,  at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services to follow at 1 p.m., in the Watkins & Sons Funeral Chapel in Dexter. With Watkins & Sons of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

Interment will be in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service in charge of arrangements.

Bonnie Jean Lewis
Bonnie Jean Lewis, daughter of the late James and Etta Belle Massey Daniels, was born in Kinder, Missouri on October 24, 1939, and passed away her home in Puxico, Missouri on January 7, 2012, at the age of 72.

She had lived in the Puxico and Kinder areas most of life. She attended the General Baptist Church in Puxico, Missouri. She enjoyed quilting, doing ceramics and needle work. She and her husband were the owner's of Cliff's Market and also worked at the Puxico Nursing Center.

On March 21, 1955 she was married to Clifford Lewis in Zalma, Missouri. He preceded her in death in May of 1985

Surviving are three sons,Von Lewis of Oregon, Dewaine Lewis of Dudley, and Jamie Lewis of Bloomfield; one daughter, Cindy Murphy of Hammond, Louisiana; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; by one brother,Lonnie Daniels of Troy; four sisters, Betty McCleary and Vera Alberternest both of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Hazel Christensen of Sunset, Utah and Vera Daniels of Troy; other relatives and friends also survive.
She is preceded in death by five brothers, Virgin, Clelan, Donald, Robert and Les Daniels; three sisters: Laura Mae Browning, Ilene Robertson and Judy Gale Daniels

Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 10, 2012, after 6 p.m., at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday January 11, 2012 in the Watkins and  Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico.with Rev. Ray Placher of Puxico officiating.

Interment will be in the Puxico City Cemetery in Puxico, with Watkins & Sons of Puxico in charge of arrangements.

Sammy Lee Pruitt, son of the late Everett Dennis and Myrtle Pruitt, was born on October 23, 1940, in Idalia, Missouri and passed away at his home in Idalia,  on January 8, 2012, at the age of 71 years, 2 months and 16 days.

Mr. Pruitt lived in Idalia all of his life. He had been a machinist at Arvin Automotive in Dexter. He was a Baptist, a member of Masonic Lodge 152 in Bloomfield, Missouri and the Sikeston American Legion.

On December 21, 1973, he was married to Betty Jean Roach in Benton, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Betty Jean Pruitt of Idalia; one son, Clay Pruitt of Idalia; three daughters, Jeanie Pruitt, Dana Relli, and Amanda McWilson, all of Jackson; two step-sons, Randy Spencer of Florida, Ricky Kelley of Cape Girardeau; one step-daughter, Donna Gregory of Idalia; and four grandchildren; by one brother, Bobby Pruitt of Arnold; and special friend of the family, Don Marshall of Jackson; other relatives and many friends also survive.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Myrl Potter and one brother, Bill Pruitt.

Friends may call on Monday, January 9, 2012, after 10 a.m., at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 9, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield  with Randy McWilson of Jackson officiating.

Internment will be at the Bluff Cemetery near Idalia.

Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield in charge of all arrangements.
