Georgia Duffey Henry

Georgia Duffey Henry passed away at the St. Francis Medical Center on October 8, 2011, at the age of 90 years.

She was born in Brownwood, Missouri to James W. Duffey and Minnie Belle Morris Duffey on November 12, 1920.

She is survived by her husband, Clarence Henry to whom she was married at Piggott, Arkansas on April 29, 1944. Also surviving is one son and spouse, Steve & Laura Henry of Millersville, Missouri, one daughter and spouse, Janet & Bob Rainwater of Puxico, Missouri; one sister, Bertie Cook of Bloomfield, Missouri and two granddaughters, Carol Baker of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Beth Davis of St. Louis, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Melba Borneman, Inez Hendley and Lucille Wright, two brothers, Raymond and Aymond Duffey, and one infant son.

She was a long time member and Sunday school teacher at the Bloomfield General Baptist Church.

Visitation will be at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield on Monday, October 10, 2011, from 5 until 8 p.m.

Funeral services will be at the Bloomfield General Baptist Church with Brother Kevin Eskew officiating.on Tuesday, October 11, 2011, at 10 a.m.

Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

Dorothy Raymo, daughter of the late Sam Raymo and Viola Mason Raymo was born on March 6, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield, Missouri on October 2, 2011 at the age of 86 years.


Mrs. Raymo was a home maker, affiliated with the First Assembly of God Church in Bloomfield, Missouri, and a resident of Dexter.


Survivors include two sons, Robert Chapman of Madison, Tennessee and Daniel Schuler of Nashville, Tennessee; three daughters, Sharon Ham of House Springs, Missouri, Lenore Woodruff of Texas, and Trena Fenwick of Haleyville, Alabama; also by 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.


Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Bill Reed and by one daughter, Dottie Reed.


Memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at 2 p.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Dwight Hensley and Marigene DeRusha officiating.

Wilma Long Ellis, daughter of the late George Everett and Virgie Monroe Long, was born in Bloomfield, Missouri on October 15, 1919, and passed away at the Elmcroft of Hendersonville Care Center in Hendersonville, Tennessee on October 2, 2011, at the age of 91 years.

Mrs. Ellis had lived in Pine Bluff, Arknasas where she worked at the Pine Bluff Arsenal. She later moved to Hendersonville, Tennessee. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church.

She was married to William Dorris Ellis and he preceded her in death in November of 1980.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Linda & Harvey Gardner of White House, Tennessee; and one grandchild. Other relatives and friends also survive. In addition to her parents & husband she was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Long.

Graveside services will be on Monday, October 3, 2011, at 2 p.m., in the Walker Cemetery.

Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.

David Wilson, son of the late Charles Paul, Sr. and Milded Marvell Beyer Wilson, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on February 13, 1931, and passed away at his home in Circle City, Missouri on September 30, 2011, at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 17 days.

He had lived in St. Louis before moving to the Circle City community twenty years ago. He had worked as an electrician and was a member of the I.P.E.W. He was of the Christian faith and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

In August of 1977 he was married to Rosalee Jordan in Las Vegas, Nevada. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2009.

He is survived by one daughter, Susan Kay Wilson of Fredericktown, Missouri; one son, Ken Wilson of Farmington, Missouri; several grandchildren; one brother, Charles P. Wilson, Jr. of Gravois Mills, Missouri. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Graveside Funeral services will be held Monday, October 3, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter of Essex, Missouri officiating.

Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

Carols Means, daughter of the late Robert Leslie and Madeline Lesteen Turner, was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 24, 1940, and passed away at her home in Dexter, Missouri on October 1, 2011, at the age of 70 years, 10 months and 7 days.

She had lived in the Dexter area most of her life. She was of the Christian faith.

On October 5, 1978, she was married to Oscar Edward Means in Bernie, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 23, 2001.

She is survived by six sons, John Phillips of Pennsylvania, Rick Magarian of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Jim Magarian of Montreal, Canada, Mike Magarian of Dexter, Missouri, Jeff Means of Glenn Allen, Missouri, Jason Means of Edmond, Oklahoma; three daughters, Deborah Smith and Jeanette Magarian both of Dexter, Missouri, Laurie Whisenhunt of Nicoma Park, Oklahoma; twenty-two grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Ross Turner of St. Louis, Missouri, Tim Turner of Salisaw, Oklahoma; and one sister, Ruth Gumm of Arkoma, Oklahoma. Other relatives and many friends also survive. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Russell, Mike, and Ronald Turner.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 12 p.m., at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Graveside Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4, 2011, at 1 p.m.,at the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Doctor Michael Coleman of Sikeston, Missouri officiating.

Interment will be in the Bloomfield Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
