The incoming 8th grade middle school group of young ladies is packed with talent and approach the upcoming season with high hopes.  Having spent many years of summer leagues and traveling teams, this group is not new to the court.  They have become known as a championship level team over many years of competition.

The 2010 seventh grade season only reflects the quality of this team.  They finished within one game of a perfect season.   

The continuity of the team is only enhanced by the coaching staff.  The varsity high school coaching duo of Chad Allen and Eric Sitze double up their efforts to keep their program growing from the middle school level.  The girls run the same offense and defense, preparing for the upper level.  That should help to assure a strong program for years down the road.

Their season opener will be on the road against Doniphan.  The Lady Bearcats will remain on the road for the next three games, until they have their home opener on October 13 against Neelyville.  

Dexter Middle School will host the 8th Grade Tournament this year on October 22 and 24.  Games times and brackets will be announced later in the season.
