Marylyn Ann Hunt, daughter of the late Russell Walton and Francis Pearl Martin Walton was born on March 9, 1944 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and died on August 17, 2011 at the Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 67.

Mrs. Hunt was a home-maker and a member of the Missouri Southern Healthcare Auxiliary. She was a resident of Dexter.

On June 7, 1969 she was united in marriage to Fred Hunt in Libertyville, Illinois. Mr. Hunt survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Ron Hunt of Dexter; by one daughter, Amanda Farris of Columbia, Missouri; by one brother, Russell C. Walton Jr. of Libertyville, Illinois; by one sister, Joanie Bacci of Bull Valley, Illinois and by one granddaughter, Rylee Jade Hunt of Dexter.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, John Walton.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, August 20, 2011 from 11:30 a.m.. until 3 p.m. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that all memorials be made to the Missouri Southern Healthcare Auxiliary. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
