Gregory Dean Jackson, son of the late John Willard and Eunice Louise Pledge Jackson, was born in Flint, Michigan on March 12, 1957, and passed away at his home in Dexter, Missouri on July 26, 2011, at the age of 54 years, 4 months and 14 days.

He had lived in Dexter, Missouri most of his life. He had worked as a farmer most of his life and recently as a dispatcher at the St. Jude Barge Company at Marston, Missouri.

Surviving are one daughter, Tracey Lynn Jackson of Dexter, Missouri; one son, Gentry John Jackson of Dexter, Missouri; four grandchildren; one sister, Sue Absher of Dexter, Missouri; one brother, Gene Ray Jackson of Albany, Oregon. Other relatives and friends also survive.

Friends may visit on Sunday, July 31, 2011, after 1 p.m., at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Memorial services will be held Sunday, July 31, 2011, at 2 p.m., at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri with the Rev. Steve Tippen of Bloomfield, Missouri officiating.
