Board To Consider FY 2012 Budget
The new budget for the City of Dexter will be considered Monday evening at the regular meeting of the Dexter Board of Aldermen.

The meeting’s agenda includes a Public Hearing on the FY 2012 budget that will be considered by the board.

The meeting’s agenda also includes time for the city attorney’s report, as well as reports from the Police, Streets/Sanitations, Water, Fire, Parks & Recreation, and Library department heads. In addition, the board will have an opportunity to confirm an appointment made by Mayor Joe Weber to the Dexter Library Board.

In other city business, the Park and Recreation Board met June 9 for its regular meeting. It was reported by Park Director Lawson Metcalf that the hot weather earlier in the month boosted attendance at the Dexter Aquatic Center, reaching a season-high of 325 patrons earlier this month.

Monday night’s meeting of the Board of Aldermen will begin at 7 p.m. at the Municipal Building on Vine Street.
