Lucille Hopkins, daughter of the late William Franklin Rickman and Lucy Jane Arnn Rickman, was born on January 1, 1924 in Piggott, Arkansas and passed away on June 8, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Dexter at the age of 87.

She was of the Church of Christ faith, a former nurse, a member of the Dexter Eagles Aerie # 4062, and a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by one son, Donald Powers of Dexter; by seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert Micheal Hopkins, five brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandchild.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 unti 8 p.m., Thursday, June 9, 2011. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 10, 2011 at 10a.m., in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Danny Collins officiating. Interment will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
