Mary Nell Wagner
Mary Nell Wagner, daughter of Miriam LaNelle Bailey Sturgeon of Malden and the late A.E. “Tuff” Sturgeon, was born August 12, 1954 in Kennett and died Sunday, April 10, 2011 in Poplar Bluff.

Mrs. Wagner was a member of the Malden High School Class of 1972, and was Worthy Matron Carnation Chapter 141 of the Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Parma and Sunnyvale Baptist Church in Malden.

She was married July 3, 1976 in Parma to Wendell Earl Wagner, who survives of the home. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wagner is survived by a daughter, Tara Gravseth and her husband David of Slidell, La.; a son, Tyler Wagner of Dexter; her mother, LaNelle Sturgeon of Malden; one brother, Tony Sturgeon and his wife Sherry of Neelyville; a half-brother, Jack Sturgeon and his wife Jan of Wappapello; one granddaughter, Carmen LaNell Gravseth of Slidell, La., and one niece, Kelly Dunivan of Poplar Bluff.

Friends may call after 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 19 at the Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden. An Order of Eastern Star service will be held at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 20 at the Bradshaw Chapel in Malden. The Rev. James Hamlett will officiate. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Malden.
