Rustic Lodge Presents Keith Anderson!
Zalma, Missouri - This Friday evening the Rustic Lodge will be rockin’ the night away! It’s a performance you won’t want to miss!

Jason Roberson Unleashed will be the opening act. The main event will be none other than Keith Anderson!!

Singer/songwriter Keith Anderson’s latest song, “I’ll Bring the Music” says exactly what he plans on doing at the Rustic Lodge on Friday night!

Anderson is known to co-write many songs including “Beer Run (B Double E Double Are You IN?), a duet by Garth Brooks and George Jones which was released in 2001.

He has earned a CMA and ACM Song of the Year nomination for Big & Rich’s #1 smash hit, “Lost in This Moment”.

Anderson got lots of attention being the handsome, young singer.  He was named one of People Magazine’s “50 Hottest Bachelors”, and Men’s Fitness Magazine’s, “Ultimate Country Star”.  His biggest hit of his career, “I Still Miss You”, peaked at #2 and he had another Top 25 hit, “Sunday Morning in America”.

Who is this handsome country singer? Keith’s early life included graduating from Oklahoma State University with an engineering degree.  Before that he played sports in high school and began his music career in a band at church.  He played baseball during his college years, and was approached by the Kansas City Royals, but after a shoulder injury his pursuit of professional baseball career ended.  He also enjoyed bodybuilding and placed second in the Mr. Oklahoma Competition.

Keith has had 3 Top Five Singles, 5 Top 25 Singles, countless hits as a songwriter and to date his most notable songs are, “Pickin’ Wildflowers”, “Every Time I Hear Your Name”, “XXL”, “I Still Miss You”, “Beer Run”, and  “Lost in This Moment”.

Anderson just changed Booking Agents and said, "He has been crazy booking me everywhere!  I love a small town atmosphere!"  Well that's exactly what he'ss going to get Friday night.  Population of Zalma is just over 100 resident, but people from all over come out to the Rustic Lodge every year to hear a big name singer/songwriter.

"I used to be an opening act for many great bands for years," continued Anderson.  "We seemed to be the go-to band in the Dallas and Forth Worth area for many bands like diamond Rio and Little Texas.  I had so many heroes back then, too many to name them all."

"I am bringing a new CD that is not available to the public yet.  Matter of fact, it's brand new music that hasn't even been to the record label yet.  Folks are going to get some extra music on this CD, 15 songs, some old, some new."

Anderson took a few years off after the loss of his mother to brain cancer.  That can take a toll on anyone.  His song, "I Will Miss You" was traveling up the charts just four weeks after she died and reached the #2 spot.  "It was an emotional time for me.  There were lots of interviews and singing that song at each concert was a little hard for me.  I just need to take some time off and heal."

Now that he is back on track, married and has three wonderful children, a 17 year-old stepdaughter, 2 1/2 year-old daughter and 8 month-old boy, he feels it's time to get back out there singing and having a little fun.  "I am much better now, both spiritually and emotionally.  I married my long time girlfriend and I couldn't be happier.  It's going to be fun to get back out there."

"My latest song, "I'll Bring the Music" is so much fun to sing live.  I love the great reaction from the crowd.  With each verse it gains momentum and they have their hands in the air singing along.  It's great!"

Anderson hasn't had the chance to meet his opening act; however he said there will be plenty of time to visit on Friday before the big show.  He knows what it's like to be the opening act and he wants Jason to have fun, enjoy the party, and sing!

From Marble Hill, Jason Roberson Unleashed will be his opening act.  As a boy he moved several times growing up.  His father was in construction and at a young age he became a Storm Trooper, not the kind on Star Wars, but those who help after devastating hurricanes wipe out towns along the coast.

His first hurricane was Hurricane Opal in Enterprise, Alabama. After helping clean up the area, Jason temporarily relocated to Wayne County, Missouri where he attempted to re-join high school. After only one semester, and making lifelong friends, including his future wife, Tennille Estes. The duty of a Storm Trooper then called again.

He left Woodland High School to help recover after the damage caused by Hurricane Fran in Wilmington, North Carolina. After spending almost two years in North Carolina, Hurricane George hit Gulf port, Mississippi. After working to restore the town, he moved to Marble Hill in 2003.

In 2005, New Orleans was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Being his 5th and most devastating hurricane, Jason returned to Marble Hill in 2006 to work for Ingram Barge Company, his current employer.

Jason is an up and coming talented singer.  Join him and Keith Anderson as they rock the nigh away with Richard and Vicky Dinkens, owners of the Rustic Lodge.

"Mr. Lynn Choate purchased this place and ran it for years.  He fought a long battle with cancer and after he died we bought this place on 9/9/1999," stated Vicky Dinkens, co-owner of the Rustic Lodge.  "We have battled fires, had floods and we come back stronger and stronger each time.  Mr. Choate was my hero.  He was a kind and intelligent man and I am so thankful our paths crossed."

Just a reminder to everyone it all begins around 7 p.m.  tickets are $20 each and parking will be $3.00 per vehicle.  The Zalma Volunteer Fire Department will be parking cars and raising money to purchase much needed life saving fire rescue equipment.

Big Skinny is bringing his smoker so there will be plenty of delicious BBQ and don't forget those COLD beverages.  "Please bring a designated driver if you plan to drink," added Richard Dinkens, co-owner of Rustic Lodge.  "We don't want anyone driving home after having too many out here."

"The 30'x30' stage is set and ready to go.  The grass is mowed, tables set, I sprayed for mosquitoes, and it looks really good out here," said Dinkens.  "We're right on the Castor River between the two bridges. Come out and have a good time!"
