In Loving Memory of Baby Anna Sheva Montgomery

Baby Anna Sheva Montgomery, daughter of Keith Allen Montgomery and LaDonna Porter Montgomery of Bloomfield, Missouri was born and passed away on December 1, 2016 at the Montgomery residence.

Besides her parents, survivors include five brothers, Ezekiel Montgomery, Jacob Montgomery, James Montgomery, Daniel Montgomery, and Noah Montgomery; one sister, Revkah Montgomery; also, paternal grandparents Carroll and Etheleen Montgomery of Dexter and paternal great-grandparents, Hollas and Darlene Montgomery of Dexter.

Proceeding in death are both maternal grandparents, Ingrid Porter Morlan and Garry Masters.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Thursday, December 8, 2016.  Graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. at the Dexter Cemetery.

In Loving Memory of William Edward Dunivan

William Edward Dunivan of Puxico, Missouri, son of the late Clarence and Ella Jackson Dunivan, was born in Swinton, Missouri on  August 31,1927 and passed away on December 3, 2016, at his home in Puxico, at the age of 89 years, 3 months and 3 days.

Mr. Dunivan lived in Brownwood, Missouri, then moved to Puxico in 1956. He was a member and  deacon of the First General Baptist Church for 50 years. He loved to camp and see the sights. He retired from the Missouri Department of Transportation where he worked  40 years.

On September 25, 1948 he married Shirley Brown in Advance, Missouri.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley  Dunivan of Puxico; two sons, Eddie and Pat Dunivan of Puxcio; and James and Pam Dunivan of Poplar Bluff; six grandchildren and spouses; Danny and Tara; Joe and Stacy; Marty and Karen; Heather and Keith; Missy, Jennifer. 6 great grandchildren and spouses; Levi; Kaitlyn Payne; Chris Dunivan; Averee Dunivan; Ella Dunivan; Keaton Willcut; and  Ashtyn Reese;  two sisters Thelma Annis of Cape Girardeau; and Marie Light of Winterhaven Florida. Other relatives and many friends also survive.

Friends may call on Sunday, December 4, 2016, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico, Missouri.

Funeral services will be held on  Monday, December 5, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the First General Baptist Church  in Puxico, Missouri with Dr. Danny Dunivan of Evansville, Indiana and Rev. Kenneth Lambert of Bloomfield, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery in Puxico, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico, Missouri in charge of arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Sheila Bruton

Sheila Bruton, daughter of the late Robert Wilkison and Viva Dozier Wilkison was born on November, 18, 1953 in Acorn Ridge, Missouri and departed this life on November 29, 2016 at her residence in Puxico, Missouri at the age of 63 years.

Mrs. Bruton was a member of the Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico, Missouri and a Teachers Aid at Puxico Junior High.

On January 4, 1974, she was united in marriage to Michael Bruton in Puxico, Missouri.  Mr. Bruton survives of the home in Puxico.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Michael Bruton Jr. of Rockaway Beach, Missouri and Rob Bruton of Broseley, Missouri; one daughter, Amanda Wilson of Tuttle, Oklahoma; by one brother, Dale Wilkison of Puxico, Missouri; five sisters, Janice Kelley of Bloomfield, Missouri, Marilyn Wilfong of Florida, Virginia Potter of Springfield, Missouri, Sharon Marquis of Dexter, Missouri and Linda Jones of Puxico, Missouri; also by four grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Chambers and by two brothers, Roger Wilkison and Robert Dean Wilkison.

 Memorial service will be conducted on Friday December 2, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at the Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico, Missouri with Rev. Glenn Epps III officiating.

In Loving Memory of Charlotte Richard

Charlotte Richard daughter of the late Wesley June Ferguson and Lowanda Robinson Ferguson was born in Pontiac, Michigan on December 26, 1946 and departed this life at her residence in Bernie, Missouri on November 26, 2016 at the age of 69.

Mrs. Richard was a homemaker and of Full Gospel faith.

She was united in marriage to James Calvin Ford, he preceded her in death, later she married Glendell Ray Richard in Bernie, Missouri on December 8, 1978, Mr. Richard preceded his wife in death on August 5, 2009.

Survivors include one son, David Ford of Gideon, Missouri; one daughter, Holly Schwent of Batesville, Arkansas; by one brother, Bernie Prince of St. Augustine, Florida; by three sisters, Donna Yarbrough of Dahlonega, Georgia, Kathy Brown of Alexandria, Virginia and Lowana Radal of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; by thirteen grandchildren, Lara Roberts, Summer Cowder, Bubby Schwent, Skyler Schwent, Shelby Vaughn, Ben Brown, Lindsey Ford, Logan Ford, Shea Sootoo, Elaina Ford, Jalynn Ford, Leann Ford and Nick Stoelting; by nine  great-grandchildren, Carley Roberts, Peyton Robert, Paisley Roberts, Kinsley Robert, Ryder Crowder and Gabe Crowder, Makenna Johnson, Bentley Brown and Sophia Brown; also by other relatives and friends.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon.

Funeral Services will then be conducted On Thursday, December 1, 2016 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 12:00 Noon with Rev. Steve Fitzpatrick officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery. Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

In Loving Memory of Earl Goings

Earl Goings, son of the late Earl Goings and Ethil Widener Goings was born on October 24, 1935 in Sitka, Arkansas and departed this life on November 27, 2016 at the Southeast Health Center in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 81 years.

Mr. Goings was a skilled trade mechanic at Arvin Industry’s until his retirement. Earl was a member of the local UAW 1930 where he held the office of State Cap Trusty and Financial Secretary for many years.   He was an avid Gardner, volunteered for many occasions and activities at the Dexter Church of Christ where he was also a member, and a resident of Dexter.

On December 13, 1969, he was united in marriage to Helen Warren in Saint Clair County Illinois.  Mrs. Goings survivors of the home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, survivors include one son, Gary Goings of Festus, Missouri; two step-sons, Marvin Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri and Kenneth Smith of Marble Hill, Missouri; one step-daughter, Janet Smith of St. Louis, Missouri; three brothers, William Leon Goings of Arnold, Missouri, Tommy Goings of Gideon, Missouri and Melvin Goings of Florida; by four sisters, Linda McNew of Senath, Missouri, Kathy Harty of Dudley, Missouri, Sharon Mathis of Nashville, Tennessee, and Betty Johnson of Fisk, Missouri,; also by seventeen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Keith Goings; two daughters, Tanya Goings and Cindy Anderson; and by one brother, Lonnie Goings.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 10:00 until 12:00 Noon on Thursday December 1, 2016.

Funeral services will then be conducted at Noon on Thursday with Pastor Jeremy Tucker and Rev. Jeff Wells officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
