Dexter, MO - In closed session Wednesday evening, the Dexter R-XI Board of Education voted unanimously to approve the hiring of Chad Jamerson as the new head football coach at Dexter High School.
Jamerson replaces Aaron Pixley, who announced his retirement from the position at the end of the 2021 season.
Jamerson, who will be in charge of our weightlifting program at the high school, has 17 years of coaching experience.
He served as the head coach at East Prairie from 2012-2020.
Most recently, he worked as an assistant coach under Kent Gibbs at Cape Central High School.
When asked to describe his foundational principles, Jamerson replied, “Faith, Family, and Football-always putting kids first!”
We are excited to welcome Coach Jamerson and his family to the Dexter R-XI School District.
