2019 DHS Homecoming Candidate Grace Milam

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School held their annual Homecoming coronation on Friday, October 4, 2019 at Charles Bland Stadium.

The first candidate was Grace Milam.

She is the 17-year old senior and daughter of Emily and Brad Milam.

Grace was nominated by the cross Country Team.

She is a member of cross county, track & field, Sr. Beta, National Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her future plans are to attend a 4-year university and become an Occupational Therapist.

Her escort was Gavin Cartwright.

Gavin is the 17-year old junior son of Damon Cartwright and Denice Johnson.

His three favorite things about Grade are: she is intelligent, she is beautiful, and her laugh!

This award was presented to students who consistently showed the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN.

Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.

Greaser of the Week Featuring Grace Sepulvado

Dexter, Missouri - School is back in session and DHS Choir students are already preparing for their upcoming musical "Grease".   Jamie Sepulvado and her crew are featuring a "Greaser of the Week!" so you can get to know DHS performers!!

Performances will be Wednesday, November 20th through Saturday, November 23rd!  We'll let you know when tickets go on sale etc, but until then get to know your castmates and prepare for a spectacular show!!

Greaser of the Week: Grace Sepulvado

Grace will be performing with the Black Cast in the role of Patty.

Grace is no stranger to the stage, performing in DHS’s productions of Shrek, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast, and the Wizard of Oz.

She loves singing (which is probably a good thing in her family and she loves performing on stage.
