In Memory of Gary Lee Cobb
Gary Lee Cobb, son of the late Vonda Lee Cobb and Viola Mae Wheatley, was born in Torch, Missouri on May 22, 1951 and departed this life at his residence in Bernie, Missouri on August 24, 2018 at the age of 67.

 Mr. Cobb had worked for DAEOC out of Portageville, Missouri, had been a farmer and was of Baptist Faith.

 He was united in marriage to Velma Jean Lambert in East Prairie, Missouri on June 16, 1969.  Mrs. Cobb survives in their home in Bernie.

Survivors include two daughters, Cary Cobb & Jeff Janson of Malden, Missouri and Wendy Pulliam & J.D. Massey of Bernie, Missouri; by two brothers, Mark Cobb of Sikeston, Missouri and Larry Cobb of Malden, Missouri; by four sisters, Brenda Patterson of Cookeville, Tennessee, Ruth Anspach of Sikeston, Missouri, Debbie Farrenburg of Farrenburg, Missouri and Karen Lee of Bernie, Missouri; by five grandchildren, Tesla, Jessie, Sahara, Rileigh and Jake; by six great-grandchildren, Maddieson, Nicholas, Zayden, Jordyn, Aria and Braelyn;  also by other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death other than by his parents, by one daughter, Sherry Ann Cobb; by one brother Michael Cobb.

Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, Missouri on Monday, August 27, 2018 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M.   

Funeral services will then be conducted at 1:00 P.M. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie. 

Interment will follow in Bernie Cemetery.  Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Mary Ellen Davis
Mary Ellen Davis, daughter of the late Ben Wilkerson and Della Haislip Wilkerson was born on December 26, 1929 in Fisk, Missouri and departed this life on August 22, 2018 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri at the age of 88 years.

Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and attended the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter.

On November 19, 1949 she was united in marriage to Carl H. Davis.  Mr. Davis preceded her in death on February 17, 2005. 

Survivors include; three daughters, Marsha Adams and husband David of Dexter, Mo., Carol Davis and husband Dan Massingham of Poplar Bluff, Mo., Lisa Robertson and husband Lee of Poplar Bluff, Mo; by two brothers, James Wilkerson of West Plains, Mo., and Ken Wilkerson of Melbourne, Fl. ; by three sisters, Mildred Coulson of Hickman, Ky, Louetta Kenna of Poplar Bluff, Mo. and Jeanette Winder of Jackson, Mo.; by five grandchildren, Travis Adams, Tyler Bader, Logan Bader, Travis Robertson and Tara Barnes; by six great-grandchildren, Karsen Adams, Kendall Adams, Kole Bader, Davis Bader, Aiden Robertson and Weston Robertson.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Virgil Wilkerson and John Wilkerson; by one sister, Nellivee Chronister.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 25, 2018 with Rev. Jeff Roth officiating. Interment will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery at Shook, Mo.

Memorials may be made to 18 Fore Life, C/O Scott Kruse, 705 Laurie Circle, Dexter, Missouri, 63841.

In Memory of Patricia Ann Blankenship
Patricia Ann Blankenship, daughter of the late Filden Samuel McBroom and Eunice M. Pippens McBroom was born on December 11, 1948 in Powe, Missouri and departed this life on August 21, 2018 at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 69 years.

She was a former employee of Paramount Headwear in Dexter, was Church of Christ faith and was a resident of Dexter.

Survivors include; three daughters, Kimberly Ann-Marie Blankenship, Kellie Chastain and Kristie Greer all of Dexter; by one brother, Jerry McBroom of Pevely; by three grandchildren, Bailey Jo Rogers, Taylor Rae Ellsworth and Wyatt Chastain; by two great-grandchildren, Layken Rae Jones and John Casen Rogers.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Denver McBroom, Bill McBroom and Darrell McBroom and by three sisters, Betty Lou Risse, Lena Mae Barbara Rogers and Evelyn Sue Rollins.

Friends may call at the Lighthouse Church on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Lighthouse Church with Rev. Tim Russell officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Bernie Cemetery.

In Memory of Louisa Harris Quick
Louisa Harris Quick of Bloomfield, died Friday, August 17, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center, Cape Girardeau.  She was born October 20, 1924 to Ernest and Minty Harris.

Louisa graduated from Bloomfield High School and Southeast Missouri University.

She and Seldon F. Quick were married December 25, 1943.  They had celebrated their 66th Anniversary when he passed away.

Louisa had lived in Bloomfield all of her life.  She was an elementary teacher for thirty years.  In addition, she was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bloomfield, serving in many leadership roles.

Survivors include two daughters and spouses, Judy and Tom Call of Biloxi, Ms., and Jean and Don Norman of Jackson, Mo.; two granddaughters and spouses, Christine and Mark Griffith of Biloxi, Ms., and Joy and Frank Auberle of Mandeville, La.  Her five great-grandchildren are Hailey, Hayden, Dylan, Brooke and Luke.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Derotha Hutchison and Ivah Harris and a brother, Bill Harris.

There will be private burial at the Bloomfield Cemetery.

Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of all arrangements.

Memorials may be given to the Bloomfield Alumni Scholarship Fund or Bloomfield Cemetery Association.

In Memory of Donna Kay Spence Twomey
Donna Kay Spence Twomey, daughter of the late Bill Spence and Ollie Williams Spence was born on December 27, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri and departed this life on August 19, 2018 at her residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 63 years.

Donna had worked as a cook for nursing homes and attended Light House Christian Center in Dexter.

She is survived by two sons, Jamie Twomey (Julie) of Dexter and Jason Twomey (Gerianne) of Dexter; by one daughter, Tabatha Crader (Chris) of Park Hills; by four brothers, Richard Spence, Walter Spence, Billy Spence and Mark Spence; by six sisters, Deloris Spence, Annie Maddox, Peggy McCoy, Cathy Baggett, Carolyn Spence and Betty Spence; by eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Spence.

Visitation with be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, August 21, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.  

A memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 12:00 noon at the Light House Christian Center in Dexter.
