In Memory of David Wayne McCulley
David Wayne McCulley, son of the late Albert McCulley and Elizabeth Jeanie Turner McCulley was born on November 3, 1972 in Dexter, Missouri and departed this life on July 9, 2018 at a residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 45 years.
Mr. McCulley was a Construction worker and was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.
Survivors include: three daughters, Chelsey Williams of Dexter, Missouri, Lindsay Williams of Bloomfield, Missouri and Nicole Fletcher of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; by three brothers, Johnny McCulley of Mexico, Missouri, Henery McCulley and Albert McCulley both of Peoria, Illinois; by two sisters, Shaunda Mullins of Peoria, Illinois and Anita Taylor of Batesville, Arkansas; by three grandchildren, Bentley Williams, Remingtynn Williams and Oliver Miller.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Greg Turner and by sister, Misty Sholl.
Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM. 

Memorial service will be conducted on July 12, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Russell officiating.

In Memory of Michael Wayne Sherritze
Michael Wayne Sherritze, ( Skillet)  59, of Malden, was born on June 18, 1959 in Florida to the late Nolan Sherritze and Nadine Marcum Sherritze. He departed this life on Monday, July 9, 2018 at his residence in Malden. 

Michael Wayne Sherritze had been a truck driver and had served in the U S Air Force. 

His survivors include:

Son: Dennie Bratcher & wife, Pam of Bernie.
8 Grandchildren and 3 Great-grandchildren
Brother: David Sherritze of Florida.
Sister: Angie Corbishley & husband, Mike of Arkansas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sons: Robert Bratcher & David Keown.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018 from 6-8:00 P.M. at the Landess Funeral Home Chapel in Malden. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Landess Funeral Chapel in Malden at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend  Stewart-Allen Clark officiating. 

Interment will be in the Parma Cemetery in Parma, Missouri.

Landess Funeral Home of Malden in charge of the arrangements.

In Memory of Brenda Watson
Brenda Watson of Bloomfield, daughter of the late Arnold Alvin and Bessie Mae Whittley Case, was born on February 24, 1947, in Circle City, Missouri and passed away at her home in Bloomfield on July 8, 2018, at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 14 days.

She had lived in in the Essex & Bloomfield areas most of her life and attended the St. Joe General Baptist Church in Idalia. She had worked as a secretary with Specialty Products and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

On August 19, 1967, she was married to Charles Thomas Watson in St. Louis, Missouri. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1991.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Watson of Bloomfield, Samuel Watson of Culman, Alabama; one daughter, Sherry Case of Bloomfield; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; two brothers, Ronald Case of Essex and Larry Case of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Watson, two sisters and four brothers.

Friends may call on Tuesday July 10, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 11, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter, Missouri.

Interment will follow in the Triplett Cemetery near Dexter, Missouri with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.

In Memory of Gene E. Cowgur
Gene E. Cowgur, son of the late William Cowgur and Viola Hardy Cowgur was born on December 6, 1943 in rural Bloomfield, Missouri and departed this life on July 8, 2018 at the age of 74 years.

Gene was a former employee of Star Manufacturing in St. Louis, Missouri, where he was a Quality Manager.  He was of Baptist Faith and lived in Bridgeton, Missouri, formerly from rural Bloomfield, Missouri.

In 1975, he was united in marriage to Patricia (Helton) Nash.  Mrs. Cowgur preceded him in death on November 17, 2017.

Survivors include; one daughter, Fonda Sue Dodson; one step-daughter, Deborah Fileccia of St. Louis, Missouri; two step-sons, Anthony Nash and Steven Nash (Kimberlie) of St. Louis, Missouri; by one brother, Jack Cowgur (Janet) of Piggott, Arkansas; by two sisters, Doris McNair of Bloomfield, Missouri and Mary Walpole (Larry) of Bloomfield, Missouri; by four grandchildren, James Nash, Collin Nash, Joseph Morales and Toni Fileccia; by two great-grandchildren, Pete Morales and Killian Morales.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Cowgur and one sister, Margaret Abernathy.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. 

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dwight Hensley officiating.

Interment will follow at North Antioch Cemetery in Bloomfield, Missouri.

In Memory of Steve Williams
Steve Williams, son of Ron Williams and Pat Crenshaw Williams of Dexter, Missouri was born on May 31, 1959 in Sikeston, Missouri and departed this life on July 4, 2018 at his residence in Dexter, Missouri at the age of 59 years.

Mr. Williams was a former member of the Army National Guard.  He was a former employee of Tanner Seed Company in Bernie, Missouri and was a resident of Dexter, Missouri.

On November 21, 2008 he was united in marriage to Catherine Graves in Pyletown, Missouri.  Mrs. Williams resides of the home in Dexter.

Besides his parents and wife, he is survived by one son, Aaron; by one daughter, Jessica Williams of Wappapello, Missouri; by one step-son, Jacob Brooks of Kermit, Texas; by one step-daughter, Dystiney Johnson of Midland/Odessa, Texas; by two sisters, Patricia Lynn Reeder of Bloomfield, Missouri and Julie Ann Williams of Dexter, Missouri; by one grandchild, Trinity Williams.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Darren Ray Williams.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 6, 2018 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel at 11:00 AM with Rev. Joe Payne officiating. 

Interment will follow at the Harper Cemetery near Aid, Missouri.
