2019 Dexter Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Recognized

Dexter, Missouri - On Saturday, February 10, 2019 the Dexter Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet at the Elks Lodge.  

Alisha Trammell, Chamber President, recognized the current 2019 Board of Directors.

They are: Alisha Trammell, Trammell and Son Insurance and Real Estate; Andrea Sisk, Bank of Advance; Sue Ann Williams, SoutheastHEALTH of Stoddard County; Janet Palmer, Green Versity: Maddie Guethle, First Midwest Bank; Dwayne Pease, Faurecia and Dexter Chamber Executive Director Korie Fish.

Not pictured are Matt Ternes, Pizza Hut; Jake Nesselrodt, National Title and Escrow and Cecil Haley, Southern Bank.

2019 Dexter Chamber of Commerce Industry of the Year Award

Dexter, Missouri - On Saturday, February 10, 2019 the Dexter Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet at the Elks Lodge.  

Alisha Trammell, Chamber President, announced the Industry of the Year.

Industry plays a vital role in the growth of the Dexter community.

Fortunately for Dexter we have multiple industries that have sustained and continued to grow over the years.

Bootheel Tool and Machine is family owned and has been in business for 34 years.  They had their largest financial year in 2018 and has continued to pull customers from all over the area from briggs and Stratton, to Mondi, WW Wood, NSK Steering Systems, Gates Rubber Co, Faurecia, and more.

Not only have they ran a successful business over the years they have remained active in the community be numerous sponsorships and serving on community boards.

Retiring Chamber Directors Recognized for Their Contributions

Dexter, Missouri - On Saturday, February 10, 2019 the Dexter Chamber of Commerce held their annual awards banquet at the Elks Lodge.  

Alisha Trammell, Chamber President, recognized the two retiring directors.

Kim Norman who owns Locust Street Flowers has been a director since 2016 and could not be here tonight.

Rhonda Hall with Bagby Wealth Management has also been a director since 2016.  

"You could always count on Rhonda's attendance and participation at any chamber meeting or function," commented Trammell.  "Her warm smile and listening ear will be missed."

The program is designed to educate and motivate up and coming leaders in the community.  This is for individuals who have a genuine interest in leadership and a desire to learn, and who want to become more involved in the future of the community.
