Bernie, Missouri - The 64th Annual Miss Bernie was held on Saturday evening in the Bernie School Cafeteria. Cymber Arnold was crowned 2017 Miss Bernie.

She is the daughter of Derik Arnold and Lacey Winchester.

Arnold will be receiving a $300 scholarship, $250 funded by Miss Bernie Organization and $50 from First State Community Bank in Malden upon fulfilling her duties and graduating high school.

First alternate was Mabree Stone. She is the daughter of Jeff and Carla Stone.

Second Alternate was Makayla Turner. She is the daughter of Lisa Turner and Ronald J. Turner, Jr.

Lauren Woods was awarded Miss Congeniality. She is the daughter of Jackie and Cecile Graham.

Age division Little Miss Bernie and Little Mr. Bernie 3 - 6 years, Petite Miss Bernie 7 years - 4th grade, Junior Miss Bernie 4th - 7th grade will each be spotlighted in a separate article on the ShowMe Times.

Proceeds will benefit Bernie Elementary and Bernie School organizations.
