Wal-Mart Donates to Disabled Veterans Wildlife Facility

Dexter, Missouri - Debbie Juden, Store Manager of the Dexter Wal-Mart presented a check in the amount of $1,000 to the Disabled Veterans Wildlife Facility on Thursday, October 13, 2016.

Tom Love, owner of the facility along with Lee Bowen, retired Gunnery Sgt. USMC, representing the American Legion Post #59 of Dexter  were on hand to accept the generous donation.

The American Legion in Dexter is a sponsor of the Disabled Veterans Wildlife Facility.  Bowen, along with several other members of the post assist Love with the operation of the grounds.

Gobbler Ridge Farms has been converted from a family recreational area into a place where veterans with combat-related injuries can go, relax, enjoy the outdoors, and hunt and enjoy nature. The project is spearheaded by Tom Love and Gobbler Ridge Farms and sponsored by the Kenady-Hanks American Legion Post #59 in Dexter.
