Children at the Vision of Hope Church Deliver Goodies to Police Officers

Dexter, Missouri - The entire city of Dexter will be donning the blue on Thursday, August 4th, to honor local law enforcement officers, including Dexter Police and Stoddard County Sheriff's Department and the local Missouri Highway Patrol.

Vision of Hope Church near Essex officially thanked local officers in style with their own “Back the Blue” treats on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

Children of the church presented numerous goodies to the Dexter Police Department to thank them for their service.  These goodies included sodas, donated by Wal-Mart, along with pizza, homemade cookies, brownies and other treats.

Pictured are several of Dexter’s finest, along with children and volunteers from Vision of Hope.

The city of Dexter is encouraged to wear blue on August 4th and to display blue ribbons on the signs of businesses to show support for local law enforcement.  If you have a photo of your employees wearing BLUE, please submit to the ShowMe Times email address -  news@showmetimes.com
