
Bernie, Missouri - Bernie Elementary music teacher, Mrs. Cecilia Lanpher, is having a music festival to raise money for a new sound system for the Bernie cafeteria/auditorium.
The festival will be held on July 15th at the Bernie Community Center and will include outdoor games and prizes for children. Hotdogs, brats, and snow cones will be available for purchase. T-shirts will also be sold for $15. Glitter T-shirts are $20 and 2X and above add $2.00 each. During performances a silent auction will be going on inside the community center.
The Music Festival opens at 5:30 p.m. and the performances will begin at 6:00 p.m. There is a $3.00 admission fee with children 12 and under get in for FREE! Many performers will be at the festival including "The Electric 107s, Los Traviesos de Mexico, Finely Watkins, and the Rockability Kid!" The Bernie Music Club will also be performing!

Bloomfield, Missouri - Lt. Governor Peter Kinder will be on hand to mark the Open House and dedicate the remodeling of the Bloomfield Public Library. The event will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Local businessman Norman Harty made possible the renovations with his generous monetary donation and will be on hand to mark the dedication.
A tour of the library will be provided by library personnel and refreshments will also be served.

Dexter, Missouri - Want a delicious meal at a great price? Head to the Dexter Senior Center located at 23 W. Stoddard St. in historic downtown Dexter. You don't have to be a senior to eat. They serve lunch from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. and the cost is $3.50 for seniors and $5.00 for non-seniors.
