18FORE Life Receives Generous Donation

Dexter, Missouri -
Paul Rink, who died almost a year ago was an avid supporter of 18FORE Life since it all began back in 2000.  Through the connection of the farming industry and agriculture business ventures, Rinck and Barry Aycock (CEO of AgXplore) valued a close friendship.

In honor of his friend, Paul Rinck, Dr. Barry Aycock wanted to remember his free and giving spirit and his commitment to friends and family and therefore Aycock decided to make a contribution to 18FORE Life.

At the 18FORE Life charity banquet a check in the amount of $10,000 was presented.  Scott Kruse was blown away by the gift and valued the donation dearly.  As with any donation the money goes towards providing $1,000 love offerings to area cancer patients.  Just recently Kruse announced that $90,000 was being mailed to cancer patients.

Troop E Preparing for Holiday Travel Weekend

Poplar Bluff, Missouri - Captain George E. Ridens, commanding officer of Troop E, Poplar Bluff, announces that on Thursday, July 3, and on Sunday, July, 6, 2014, Troop E officers will take part in the 20-Mile Trooper project in an effort to promote safety and to reduce the number of traffic crashes in the Troop E area. This means Troop E will assign a trooper every 20 miles on Interstates 55 and 57, and on other selected secondary roads. The objective of the project is to enforce aggressively all traffic violations which may contribute to unsafe traveling conditions, and to place a trooper in close proximity of motorists who may need assistance. The Patrol is committed to continuing to reduce crashes and fatalities through our education and enforcement efforts.

Captain Ridens said, “The July Fourth holiday is typically one of the heaviest traveled holidays in Missouri. I would like to urge all motorists to make sure safe driving is a part of your plans. Make sure everyone is wearing a seat belt, and never drink and drive. Should you be celebrating the holiday on the water, I want to remind everyone to ensure they are wearing an approved life jacket while in a vessel and don’t operate a vessel while drinking."

In support of "The Drive To ZERO Highway Deaths," the Patrol encourages motorists to protect themselves and their passengers by making sure everyone in the vehicle is properly restrained in a seat belt or child restraint. Watercraft operators should ensure that everyone in the vessel is wearing an approved life jacket. Click It 4 Life And Wear It!!
