Adam Bracks is Guest Speaker at Rotary Luncheon

Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter Rotary meets every other Tuesday at noon at the American Steakhouse.  This week's guest speaker was Adam Bracks, Chief Executive Officer at Southeast Health.

"The hospital is seeing some new changes.  We are beginning to see the results and have implemented a lot of real quality healthcare,"  commented Bracks.

The hospital is currently licensed for 48 beds.  "We are keeping that the same; however we are bringing a new look to our hospital converting semi-private rooms to private rooms, changing the decor and obviously bringing more quality doctors to the area."

The new medical building should be completed on July 31, 2014.  The hospital emergency room will eventually be moved and that project should begin at the end of 2014.  A 64 slice CT scan is also being installed.  The hospital currently has a much smaller piece of equipment used for CT scanning.  The surgical area is also getting a more modern look with state of the art equipment as well.

Dr. Dianne Woolard, MD will be available soon to handle Obstetrics and Gynecology in our area as well as adding a certified Endocrinologist and Podiatrist.  Lots of changes coming for our hospital and the Dexter community is excited to see what Southeast Health brings to this area.

New signage went up this week on One Mile Road as well as on the hospital building.  Adam says they pledge to keep us informed as they make changes and they are committed to increasing the quality of healthcare for our region.

Thank you Adam for speaking with the Rotary Club.

If you are interested in speaking or would like to join the Rotary Club please contact Jack Rodgers at 624-5762 or at his email address jrod63841@yahoo.com.  Also check out their new Facebook page, Dexter Rotary Club.
