Student Presents Artwork To Wright
State Rep. Bill Pat Wright of Dexter accepted artwork recently created by a Stoddard County student that will be featured in his Jefferson City office. As a part of Missouri Citizen's Day For Art, Wright was given artwork by eighth grade student Andy Parker (center) of Puxico. The work, entitled "Billy Goat Gruff" will hang in Wright's office. Accompanying Parker to the state's Capitol was his mother, Lisa Kelly. As a part of Missouri Citizen's Day for the Arts students, their parents and teachers visited the State Capitol. As a part of the day's activities as reception was held for students, their guests and state legislators. (Photo submitted by State Rep. Wright)
