
Dexter, MO - Terry Bryeans is a 6th grade Social Studies Teachers at T.S. Hill Middle School in Dexter and he is asking that the community come together to help students raise money for wreaths to be placed on graves of service men and women.
The entire 6th grade social studies classes are fundraising to help sponsor Wreaths Across America. These wreaths will be placed on the graves at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield during the Wreaths Across America (WAA) on December 18, 2021.
If someone would like to purchase a wreath, they are $15. They may purchase as many as they wish.
Each 6th grade social studies class is competing to see who can collect the most wreath orders. Those wanting to donate can either seek out a 6th grade student at T.S. Hill Middle School and pay by check, or if they don't know a 6th grader they can donate on our Wreaths Across America website page by clicking here: Donation
The 6th grade students will start taking donations on Thursday November 4th and will take them until November 12th.
December 18th at 11am is the wreath laying ceremony at the Missouri Veteran Cemetery in Bloomfield. The Dexter Middle School 6th grade students will be attending this event and helping to lay the wreaths.
