
Dexter, MO - The Dexter Board of Aldermen met in closed executive session on Monday, April 12, 2021. The results of that meeting were Mr. Trevor Pulley was appointed as City Administrator.
In addition Mr. Pulley retired as Dexter Police Chief around 6:40 p.m. on Monday, after serving nearly 33 years in law enforcement, the last three as Dexter's police chief.
Mr. Hank Trout was appointed as the new police chief.
Pulley is married to Starla Pulley and has three children, Caleb Pulley, Cameron Pulley, and Taylor Wady. He and his wife will celebrate 30 years of marriage this year!
He graduated from the Missouri Law Enforcement Academy in June 1989 and has served with the Dexter Police Department for 20 years. On April 6, 2021 he celebrated his 3rd anniversary as Dexter's Police Chief.
"There were three things I wanted to accomplish once I became police chief," stated Pulley. "I have accomplishment them all. they include a new state of the art dispatch area, a new evidence room, and a new training room/emergency response/center building. I am pretty pleased with all three."
Pulley replaced long time city administrator Mark Stidham, who passed from Covid-19 in December 2020.
