DHS Sr. Beta Club to Host 3rd Annual Old-Fashioned Chili Supper
Dexter, Missouri - The Dexter High School Sr. Beta Club will host their 3rd Annual Old-Fashioned Chili Supper on Thursday, December 13, 2018 in the high school cafeteria.

The event will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. You can purchase tickets at the door for $7.00 which will include chili, cinnamon roll, drink and admission to the Dexter boys basketball game against the Richland Rebels.  The JV and Varsity games will be held in the high school gym instead of the Bearcat Event Center!  What a great atmosphere for a throwback game!!!

Carry-outs will be available and children under age of 5 years old are free!

Proceeds will got to the Dexter Sr. Beta Club.  Please come out and support them and enjoy some great southeast Missouri basketball between the Bernie Mules and the Dexter Bearcats!

Elderland Holiday Pie SPIN Club
Do you have a child wanting to learn how to bake pies?

If so, join us in making, baking, and eating holiday pies.

Participants will learn how to make and bake pies for the upcoming holidays.

On the last day, their skills will be put to the test by how well their pies taste by the customers of Elderland Restaurant.

This event is for ages 8-18. It will be hosted after school on December 6th, 13th, and 20th from 4 - 6 pm at Elderland Restaurant in Bloomfield.

The cost is $20 for non-members, which includes their 4-H membership and $10 if they are currently enrolled as a 4-H member.

Please pre-register to attend.

Bloomfield Area Nutrition Center 2018 Christmas Home Tours
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Area Nutrition Center (BANC) will host their 2nd Annual Christmas Home Tour on Sunday, December 2, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Tickets are $15 per person and are available at BANC.

4th Annual It's a Wonderful Life in Downtown Bloomfield
Bloomfield, Missouri - The Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce would like to invite you to the 4th Annual It's a Wonderful Life in Bloomfield event on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Enjoy an evening of Christmas cheer filled with entertainment, photos with Santa Claus.  There will be lots of hot chocolate, coffee, cookies, snacks, candy, chili and more all free.  

The Chamber would like to invite all local businesses and churches to join them.  Goldie DeGroot encourages anyone to participate by setting up a booth or table.  If you are unable to set up a booth, donations are welcome.  There will also be prizes.  Just give her a call at (573) 568-9996 or (573) 568-2584.

The purpose of this event is to bring Bloomfield together for one special night of Christmas cheer and to enjoy an evening around the courthouse. 

Roadblocks will be set up so traffic will be diverted that evening. 

Burning barrels will also be available to keep your hands toasty warm while listening to beautiful Christmas music.
