Air Tech to Host Customer Appreciation Luncheon
Dexter, Missouri - Air-Tech will host a Customer Appreciation Day on May 4th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

"Since we value every customer at Air-Tech Heating and Air LLC we thought we would show you our appreciation for standing behind us loyally. This day is ABOUT YOU," commented Jason Johnson, owner of Air Tech.

"Don't hesitate to come down to Air-Tech and fix you a plate of Fried Catfish, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw and Hush Puppies."

There will be units on display as well as brochures that educate anyone interested in what the company has to offer!

Their love for their customers has truly grown and they hope to see you all here May 4th from 11 - 2:30 to enjoy good food and conversation!

Tyson Donates $5,000 to 18 FORE Life

Dexter, Missouri - Mark Avery of Tyson presented a sponsorship of $5,000.00 in support of The Ben Kruse 18 FORE Life Charity Golf Event Banquet. 

The Banquet to be held on June 1st still has a few tickets available and on sale now for $30. 

The lineup includes John O Leary, the Pixley in honor of Adam, and Brandon Jines with the Toast to Ben. 

June 2nd golf event still has a couple of spots open!

Local Student Sells Slime for a Cure!
Elizabeth Bolin, age 11, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes on December 20, 2017. 

Since being diagnosed, Liz has made it a goal of hers to raise awareness for diabetes.  She is not ashamed of her disease and wants others to become educated on what Type 1 Diabetes is and how to live with it.  

After Liz was diagnosed she asked her parents to research ways to help raise money for diabetes.  Her parents learned about the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or JDRF.  It is the leading global organization funding Type 1 Diabetes (T1D) research.   

Another thing JDRF does is it hosts local walks where those affected by diabetes can form a team to raise money and then walk at the event.  There are multiple walks all over the U.S. throughout the year.  

Elizabeth, along with her cousin, Zach, have formed a team called Cousins for a Cure.  Zach was diagnosed two months before Elizabeth in October 2017.  They walk in their first JDRF walk this Saturday, April 28, in Springfield, MO.  

To raise money for her walk, Elizabeth came up with the idea to turn her hobby of making slime into a way of making money. She made an IG account called type_wonder_ful_slime and immediately got to work selling slime!  

She has raised over $475 for her team just from selling slime!  The love and support LIz has been shown through all of this has been remarkable!  

Her team has also raised over $500 in other donations, so Elizabeth and Zach hope to bring $1000 with them to their JDRF walk on Saturday.  

Liz is a 5th grade student at Central Elementary and daughter of Chris and Jennifer Bolin.  She enjoys volleyball, cheer, and jumping on her trampoline.  Elizabeth plans to continue raising money for diabetes awareness for many years to come or until she can say she “USED” to have diabetes and there is a cure!

2018 Bloomfield Heritage Days Set for This Weekend
Bloomfield, Missouri - Bloomfield Heritage Days, sponsored by the Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce and the Bloomfield Lion's Club, will be held this weekend Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, April 27th, 28th, and 29th at the Bloomfield City Park. It’s about celebrating our community and providing a welcoming festival in the spring!

Step Back in Time will feature an old fashioned living historical encampment from the early 1800s.  Special activities are planned such as the Candy Cannon and kids games, live turtles and Chomper, the Sulcata Tortoise will be on hand to celebrate.

Smell the aroma of fresh kettle corn, indulge your taste buds with homemade fried pies, chicken & dumplins, French onion soup. ham & beans and much more.  Primitive traders will be selling their hand crafted leather and other goods.

Children of all ages will enjoy the infamous Candy Cannon and have fun at the hands-on learning center where they can pet live turtles, feel the furs of buffalo, skunk, possum, raccoon and many more Missouri animals.  They can throw a hawk or shoot a longbow or try their hand at throwing the atlatl.

Modern crafters will be set up on Saturday only.

Farm Credit Recognizes Administrative Professionals' Day

The week of April 22nd - April 28th is known as Administrative Professionals Week and Wednesday, April 25, 2018 is National Administrative Professionals' Day, aka Secretaries Day or Admin Day.

It is observed on the Wednesday of the last full week of April each year in the United States.

It is a day to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists and other administrative support professionals

Farm Credit would like to honor their employees, Janet Jordan and Denise Mayberry. 

Janet will be celebrating her 20th anniversary with Farm Credit later this year and Denise will be celebrating her 3rd anniversary later this year also. 

Farm Credit would like to recognize and thank Janet and Denise for providing high quality customer service to all of our current and future customers. 

Their specific skills are vital to our mission and accomplishing the tasks at hand. THANK YOU for all you do!

National Administrative Professionals’ Day is an unofficial national holiday. However, this special day coincides with National Secretaries Week. In June 1952, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, Charles Sawyer proclaimed National Secretaries Week.  In that same year, June 4 was designated National Secretaries Day.
