2024 DHS Fall Senior Night Featuring Jake Parker

The Dexter High School honored their graduating athletes at the annual Fall Senior Night during the pre-game of the Bearcats vs Scott City Rams football game on Friday, October 25, 2024.  Each graduating athlete will be recognized in a separate article.

Jake Parker is the son of Cara Parker and John Parker.

He is a four year member of the Marching Bearcats.

His future plans are to attend college after he graduates high school.

Jake's favorite marching band memory was when they submitted all the band-o-grams during the Sikeston Marching Festival.

Ricardo Martinez is the son of Josefina Martinez and Beto Hilarion.

He is a four year member of the Dexter Marching Bearcats.

His future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau to pursue a music education degree.

Ricardo's favorite band memories are the multiple overnight State trips where he wouldn't get any sleep before the auditions the next day.

Joe Fortner is the son of Charles Fortner and Amanda Fortner.

He is a four year member of the Marching Bearcats and is also a member of the Jazz 'Cats Band.

His future plans are to attend Truman State University and stay social sciences.

His favorite band memories are Districts and trips to State.

Christiaan is the son of Rick and Brandy Wirz.

He is a four year member of the football team, track and field team and is active in Future armers of America.

His future plans to enroll at Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau to become a professional pilot after graduation.  he hopes tome lots of money and live a nomadic lifestyle.

Christian's most memorable football moment was beating two, Class 3 top 10 ranked opponents during his senior season.

Tyler Spence is the son of Rick Spence.

He is a member of the Dexter Bearcat football team.

He is currently undecided about his plans after graduation, but he is considering attending college, joining the military or going straight to work.

His most memorable moment is when they beat Kennett to become Conference Champs.
