2024 DHS Homecoming Queen Puja Maisuria

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

The Dexter High School student body casts their votes each year to crown the 2024 Homecoming Queen and her court!

Retiring 2023 DHS Homecoming Queen Kate Churchill  Escorted by Cameron Bell

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

The retiring 2023 Homecoming Queen Kate Churchill attended the 2024 Queen Coronation.  She is the daughter of Dan and Rhonda Churchill.

She graduated last year and is now a nursing student at Three Rivers College in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.  She is a member of the USTA, Student Nurses Association, Dexter FPC, TRC Student Leadership Academy, Phi Theta Kappa, and the TRC Honor's Program.

Kate says she is a proud alumni of Dexter High School and hopes to continue to serve her community after college graduation!

She was escorted by Cameron Bell.  He is a senior at Dexter High School and is the son of Christian and Mendy Bell.

He is a member of cross country and track & field teams as well as Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Farmers of America, Student Council, Sr. Beta Club, National Honors Society, and Pep Club.

When asked to describe Kate, Cameron said she is, "My glorious queen!"

2024 DHS Homecoming Candidate Featuring Febe Worley

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

Febe Worley was nominated by the tennis team and is a senior at Dexter High School.  She is the daughter of Clete and Jill Worley.

She is on the varsity tennis team and girls basketball team as well as a member of FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, HOSA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Yearbook Staff, Pep Club and National Honor Society. 

After graduation, she plans to attend a four year university and pursue a career in the medical field.

She is escorted by Devin Turnbo.  He is a junior at Dexter High School and is the son of Jason and Holly Turnbo.

He is a member of the football team, basketball team, and track & field team.  

When asked to describe Febe in a few words, Devin said she is "his girlfriend's best friend."

2024 DHS Homecoming Candidate Featuring Alexis Sisk

Alexis Sisk was nominated by the football team and is a senior at Dexter High School.  She is the daughter of Scott and Andrea Sisk.

She is a member of Future Business Leaders of America, FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, Pep Club, and is on the varsity cheer team.

After high school graduation and college, Alexis plans to pursue a career in Speech Pathology.

She was escorted by Caden Lee.  He is a senior at Dexter High School and is the son of Ryan and Ariel Lee.

He is a member of the football team and track & field team as well as a member of Future Business Leaders of America and Sr. Beta Club.

When asked to describe Alexis in a few words, Caden said she is sweet, caring and short.

2024 DHS Homecoming Candidate Featuring Avery Riley

The 2024 DHS Homecoming Coronation was held at Charles Bland Stadium on Friday, September 6th as the Dexter Bearcat Football Team took on the Sikeston Bulldogs defeating them 48-7.

Avery Riley was nominated by the volleyball team and is a senior at Dexter High School.  She is the daughter of Andy and Natalie Riley.

She is member of the varsity volleyball team and is a basketball cheer team captain.  She is also a member of HOSA, Top 10%, National Honor Society, Pep Club, FCCLA, Sr. Beta Club, and works as a teller First Midwest Bank in Dexter.

After high school graduation she plans to attend the University of Mississippi and as a pre-med major.

Her escort was Jackson Howard.  He is a senior and the son of Wes and Bonnie Howard.

Jackson is a member of the football team and baseball team.  He is also a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Sr. Beta Club, and Pep Club.

When asked to describe Avery in a few words, Jackson said, "Avery is very smart, loving, and she is one of a kind!"
