2021 DHS Winter Homecoming Queen is Bronwen Young

Dexter, MO - Dexter High School held their annual Winter Homecoming Coronation on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Bearcat Event Center.

Second alternate is Karlee Keirsey.

First alternate is Kyla Propst.

2021 Winter Homecoming Queen is Bronwen Young.

Crowning the New 2021 DHS Homecoming Queen is Alexa Werneck

Dexter, MO - Dexter High School held their annual Winter Homecoming Coronation on Friday, February 5, 2021 at the Bearcat Event Center.

Alexa Werneck is the 2020 Homecoming Queen runner up and crowned the new court.  She is the 19 year old daughter of Chad and Amber Werneck. 

She graduated in May of 2020 from Dexter High School and is currently attending Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau.  She is majoring in occupational therapy.

Her escort tonight was maddox Miller.

He is the son of Gavin and Kristin Miller.

Bronwen Young is the daughter of Josh and Jessica Young and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is a member of varsity football cheer, DHS Marching Band, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Top 10%, and is a wrestling state girl.

Her future plans are to attend Louisiana State University and earn a degree in nursing.

She was nominated by the wrestling team.

Her escort was her brother, Ryan Young.

He is also the son of Josh and Jessica Young.

Hannah Pyles is the daughter of Amy and Jay Pyles and is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is a member of the Kickin' Cats Dance Team, the softball team, Sr. Beta Club, National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, HOSA, DECA, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Her future plans are to attend Ole Miss and major in nursing and minor in Spanish.

She was nominated by the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.

Her escort was Jacob Medler.

He is the son of Ryan and Ashlee Medler.

Tristin Pullum is the daughter of Tyler Pullum and Natasha and Jason Fornkohl.  She is a senior at Dexter High School.

She is a member of the Pep Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Chamber Choir, football cheerleading, Kickin' Cats Dance Team and Track.

Her future plans are to attend Southeast Missouri State University - Cape Girardeau and earn a degree as a child life specialist.

Tristin was nominated by the Kickin' Cats Dance Team.

Her escort tonight was Riley Slusher.

Riley is the son of Jeff and Regina Slusher.
