
Dexter, MO - The Miss DHS contest is a longstanding tradition at Dexter High School. Senior students nominate ladies from their class then the entire student body votes on the winner.
As of now the coronation will have only parents attending due to COVID-19. Unfortunately it will not be open to the public.
The ShowMe Times will hopefully film the coronation on October 22nd to be put on Facebook later that morning.

Bloomfield, MO - The Bloomfield School Board held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, October 12, 2020. It was a light agenda for open session with the only agenda item of the approval of the District was the audit report. This item was tabled as the auditors were not able to attend the meeting.
During Superintendent Toni Hill's report, she went through their September membership count. This is one of two times the District turns in an official enrollment count to the state. The historical September enrollment sheet is attached. Bloomfield's enrollment continues to decline.
During the executive session, the board approved:
1. Substitute list
2. Resignation (retirement) of Lesley Eby at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year.
3. Resignation (retirement) of Terri Matthews at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year.
4. Resignation (retirement) of Louis Bell at the conclusion of the 2020-2021 school year.
5. Hire Heather Rice as Middle School secretary to start on January 4, 2021.
