2020 DHS Fall Senior Night Featuring Layne Medler

Dexter, MO - On Friday, September 4, 2020 the Dexter High School honored fall athletes at Charles Bland Stadium.  Due to COVID-19 senior night was moved from the last home game to the first home game of the year.  Football, volleyball, girls tennis, football cheer, cross country and band members and their families were announced prior to kick-off against the Sikeston Bulldogs.

Layne Medler is the daughter of Sherry and Roger Medler.

She is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country team.

Her future plans are to attend a 4-year university and earn a degree in occupational therapy.

Her most memorable cross country moment at DHS was running in the mud at the Forest Park meet.

Alanie Lacy is the daughter of Misty and Ron Lacy.

She is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country team.

Her future plans are to go to college and see as much of the world as she can.

Her most memorable cross country moment at DHS was eating pasta and running in ankle deep mud at Forest Park.

Austin Kennard is the son of Candy and Tim Kennard.

He is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country team.

His future plans after graduation are to attend Ozark Technical College in Springfield and major in carpentry and construction.

His most memorable cross country moment at DHS was when I went swimming in Current River after the Van Buren race with my friends Matt, Jordan, and Gage.

Evan Grobe is the son of Amy and Aaron Grobe.

He is a member of the Dexter High School Marching Band.

His future plans after graduation are to attend the University of Central Arkansas and major in Finance.

His most memorable moment at DHS is always going to Long John Silvers during Jazz Band trips to Farmington.

McKayla Annesser is the daughter of Kayse Bond and Drew Soule.

She is a member of the Dexter High School Cross Country team.

Her future plans after graduation are to major in biology, attend medical school, and become a doctor.

Her most memorable moment is the night before our meet in St. Louis, the whole team got to eat together and it felt like a true family
