DHS Greaser of the Week is Gavin Cartwright

Dexter, Missouri - School is back in session and DHS Choir students are already preparing for their upcoming musical "Grease".   Jamie Sepulvado and her crew are featuring a "Greaser of the Week!" so you can get to know DHS performers!!

Performances will be Wednesday, November 20th through Saturday, November 23rd!  We'll let you know when tickets go on sale etc, but until then get to know your castmates and prepare for a spectacular show!!

Greaser of the Week: Gavin Cartwright

Gavin is a junior at DHS, and he will be performing as Kenickie with the Red Cast in the upcoming performance of Grease at DHS.

This is Gavin’s first musical performance, and he wanted to follow in the footsteps of his big brother, Zach.

Myah is a junior, and she will be performing with both casts as Jonna Casino.

She has previously performed in Beauty and the Beast and Oklahoma, and she absolutely loves musical theater.

Greaser of the Week: Hannah Bryant

Hannah is a junior this year, and she will be performing as one of the Pink Ladies in both casts.

Hannah has previously performed in Beauty and the Beast and Oklahoma.

She likes performing in musicals because she finds them interesting.

It's the Great DHS Mac & Cheese Drive!!

Dexter, Missouri - It's the great FBLA Macaroni & Cheese drive competition at Dexter High School.  It begins Monday, November 11th and runs until Friday, November 22nd.

Students are asked to bring in boxes of Mac & Cheese to their advisory teacher.

The advisory class with the most donations will win a party of choice, either pizza or ice cream.

The donations will be given to the Stoddard County Gospel Mission to help those in need.

In the past they have donated more than 1,500 boxes each year.  What a great cause!  

Don't have students in school you can still donate boxes of Mac & Cheese just drop off at the Mission any day of the week!!

Second Graders Earn Positive Office Referral Awards

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary honored SECOND GRADE students with Positive Office Referral certificates.

This award was presented to students who consistently showed the 3R's RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE, and READY TO LEARN.

Each student received a certificate and a FREE Taco from Taco Bell.
