Three-Way Tie for Valedictorian at Bernie High School Class of 2019
Bernie, Missouri - Bernie High School has announced a three way tie for valedictorian. Daisy Eaton, Cymber Arnold, and Weston Zoll have been named valedictorians.

Daisy is the daughter of Gary and Amber Eaton.

Cymber is the daughter of Derik and Casey Arnold and Tom and Lacey Winchester.

Weston Zoll is the son of Donald and Brandee Zoll.

Joshua Ellenburg has been named Salutatorian.

He is the son of Allan and Tommie Ellenburg.

The Bernie graduation ceremony will be Sunday, May 12, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Bernie High School gym.

Bernie Elementary Positive Office Referral Awards
Bernie, Missouri - Bernie Elementary Positive Office Referrals were awarded this week.  These students were rewarded for their good behavior!

Students who earn such an honor also received a Subway Sandwich Gift Card and a POR Certificate.

These students were referred for displaying positive behavior!

Front Row
Gracie, Layne, & Wyatt (K) have all been working so hard in class.
Zoe (PreK) has been working hard in speech.
Quentin (PreK) has done excellent at listening in music class.

Middle Row
Landri (6th) shared her creative musical ideas with others.
Jaxon (4th) helped read to his classmates.
Carson (3rd) is always using good manners.
Chloe (3rd) is kind to others.
Zayla (2nd) had a great week.
Shaelynn (3rd) is kind to others.
Peyton (2nd) had a great week.
Isabella (2nd) helped another student who was running behind pack up.

Back Row
Judith (5th) has been extremely helpful. She helped another student with math, and she helped others make their bath bombs.
Kinslee (4th) is kind to others and has a positive attitude.
Finley (4th) helped others learn their recorder songs.
Drake, MacKenzie, Cassidy, & Blair (5th) have all been extra helpful.
Emma (5th) helped in the library last week. 
Savannah (5th) helped her teacher teach 1st grade library in their classroom each week during testing. She picked out books for the kids to check out and read them.

Positive Office Referrals at Bernie Elementary

Faith (2nd) had a great week.

Aniyah (2nd) had a great week.

Kimberlie (2nd) helped the teacher pick up pencils off the floor, push in chairs, and return books left by the computers. 

Gracie & Kylie (K) found some Easter eggs leftover from the Pre-school egg hunt and they turned them into the teacher instead of keeping them.

Ryleigh (4th) had a great week.

Lila (4th) had a great week.

Leah (3rd) was respectful the entire week they were in the game station for MAP testing rotations.

Aniyah (3rd) worked really hard during the MAP test. 

Travelle (1st) has been working SO hard!

Bernie 4th Grade 3rd Quarter Honor Roll 2019
Bernie, Missouri - The Bernie Mules 4th Grade Honor Roll for 3rd quarter has been released.

Students work very hard to maintain at least a B average to make the honor roll.  Congratulations to all!
