DHS Winning Advisory Class for Improvement to Boon Park

Dexter, Missouri - Dexter High School hosted a dollar drive for improvements at Boon Park. Theses students worked hard and collected the most money.  They are students in Mrs. Pfeffer's Advisory Class.

Southwest Elementary to Celebrate Dr. Seuss Reading Week

Dexter, Missouri - Southwest Elementary will celebrate Dr. Seuss Reading Week beginning Monday, February 25, 2019 thru March 1st.

Each day will be themed after a Dr. Seuss Book.

Monday is "The Sleep Book" so everyone wear their pajamas!

Tuesday is "Green Eggs and Ham" Everyone wear green!

Wednesday is "Wacky Wednesday"  Everyone dress Seuss style including wacky pattersn or your favorite character!

Thursday is "The Lorax" so wear your orange and a mustache!

Friday is "The Cat in the Hat" Wear black, white, or red and a COOL hat!!

Bernie Positive Office Referrals for Week February 19th

Bernie, Missouri - Bernie Elementary Positive Office Referrals were awarded this week.  These students were rewarded for their good behavior!

Students who earn such an honor also received a Subway Sandwich Gift Card and a POR Certificate.

These students were referred for displaying positive behavior!

Conner (1st) is a good friend and helps others carry heavy things down the hall.

Mason (4th) is always a hard worker.

McKenzie (3rd) helped a friend when they were upset.

Ember and Gabriella (3rd) are always working hard.

Yaritza (5th) stopped and helped another student when he spilled his art box out of his locker. 

Ashtin (2nd) helped another student with her math page and played with a new student at recess.

Chloe (2nd) played with a new student at recess.

NOT PICTURED:  Brooks (1st) is always kind and sets a good example for others.  Amelia (2nd) helped another student with their money worksheet.
